Holidays with children

The Chiemgau region and our municipality of Gstadt also offer many attractive activities for younger guests.

These include football pitches and a volleyball court, playgrounds and a water playground, the popular pirate treasure hunt, visits to the climbing garden or the nearby fairy tale parks. The local ice cream parlour is also a popular meeting place for sweet tooths of all ages. Of course, a short boat trip with rowing boats or electric boats for hire directly on the shore in Gstadt is also very popular with young and old alike. And in our two freely accessible lidos, the day almost ends too quickly in summer.

Skate park and beach volleyball court

Close by and freely accessible to everyone: a small skate park in the centre of Gstadt near the building yard, a small water playground and our beach volleyball court in Hofanger right by the lake.

Football fans are also well catered for: two large football pitches in Gstadt and Gollenshausen are ready for exciting matches.

Walking with children

There is a wide range of walks and hikes for younger hiking and mountain enthusiasts in Chiemgau, with natural play areas and beautifully situated alpine pastures and mountain inns, whose menus are also tailored to younger guests. And not far from us on the Steinplatte, there are even dinosaurs to discover.

From April to November, the big treasure hunt takes place in conjunction with Chiemsee Schifffahrt and the Chiemsee Pirates. An exciting adventure awaits you with a big and thrilling treasure hunt on the treasure island of Pirate Captain Fischunkel.
