Gstadt can be reached by the rail-line Munich - Salzburg. Stations are Bad Endorf, Prien or Traunstein. From Prien and Traunstein there are regular buses or a taxis, from Bad Endorf Gstadt can only be reached by taxi. The distance from Prien and Bad Endorf to Gstadt is approx. 15 km, from Traunstein about 25 km.

Lake Chiemsee lies directly on the A8 Motorway from Munich to Salzburg. Take the exit Prien or Traunstein from where you reach Gstadt in 20 – 30 Minutes.
