A new beach volleyball court with “summer feeling”, natural spectator stand and the great Chiemsee and mountain scenery, offers additional leisure and sports facilities in the nature park of Hofanger right by the lake.
Stand-up paddle, (SUP), is the new trend sport for young and old. Originally developed by Polynesian fishermen, this sport trains the balance and the muscles – each individual sets his own pace to suit himself. Beginner courses, tours and boards for hire are available at the Chiemsee-Surfcenter right at Hofanger.
In the town center of Gstadt, near the Bauhof (municipal disposals), you can also find a skating ground which is free for everyone.
